how do i book a sitter?

Create a parent log-in and submit a job through the request form!

How do i contact my sitter?

You will receive a confirmation email which includes a short bio of your sitter as well as their phone number.

How/when do i pay the $10 booking fee?

You will receive an invoice via email once a sitter is placed. Simply click the link and enter your card information for the payment to process!

how do i pay the sitter?

Parents pay the sitter directly at the end of the sit with cash or Venmo.

what if I'm willing to pay extra to get a last minute sitter?

Please indicate that in the 'Message' section of the job form and sitters will be able to see the description.

can i request a specific sitter again?

Of course! Just put their name in the 'Message' section of the request form.

I need to cancel. How do I do that?

Email bookings@safersit.com. If a sitter has already been placed for the sit, you will still be responsible for the $10 sitter placement fee.

NOTE: a $30 cancelation fee applies to all sits canceled with less than 24 hour notice to compensate the sitter for reserving time
