*Sitters are to be paid for the full number of hours requested as well as any additional hours worked.

NOTE: a $30 cancelation fee applies to all sits canceled with less than 24 hour notice to compensate the sitter for reserving time

At SaferSit we pride ourselves on providing high quality babysitters who love being with your children while recognizing this is also their job. We believe in treating sitters with the utmost dignity and respect: This includes respecting sitter’s boundaries and time. Many sitters choose their potential jobs initially on their qualifications then location, timing, and income potential. We ask that you promptly communicate any time changes with them with the understanding they may not be able to accommodate changes outside the original request.

We also understand sometimes you may want to utilize one sitter for multiple families as you enjoy an evening out or gather for events. We ask that you communicate this in the “Message” section of your booking request and note that your placement fee and hourly rate will reflect this on an individual basis. When multiple families are involved sitters must balance different sets of rules as well as separate parental communications. Additionally, a maximum amount of children per sitter will be determined by SaferSit in accordance with the children’s ages and individual needs in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all.
